What can I use it for?
Complaints to an organisation such as a council, landlord, employer or public body: your first complaint, a stage 2 review, or a complaint to the ombudsman. You need your emails, letters or PDFs about it.
It isn’t built yet for challenging a benefits decision (such as PIP or Adult Disability Payment), or for appeals and tribunals. For those, Citizens Advice can help for free. Family court matters are out of scope.
Is this legal advice?
No. FirinnVault is a tool to help you write your own complaint from your own documents. It isn’t legal advice, and it never tells you who is right or how likely you are to get what you ask for.
If you need advice, or your matter has a deadline (for example a tribunal time limit), contact Citizens Advice, ACAS or a solicitor. Don’t rely on FirinnVault to meet a deadline.
How private is it, if it uses AI?
Your files stay on your device, encrypted in your browser. They are never uploaded to us. Before any AI sees the text, names, addresses and reference numbers are swapped for codes like PERSON_1, on your device. You check the list, and three checks run before anything is sent.
Only the coded text is sent. The list that turns the codes back into names never leaves your device.
What if the AI gets a fact wrong?
Facts in your letter are linked to exact quotes from your documents, and each quote is checked word for word against the original. A separate AI check reads the letter, and it is improved if anything needs fixing. Lines that go further than the source are flagged for you.
Then you check each line beside its source. You can change it or leave it out. Nothing is final until you sign it. Like any software, it can make mistakes, so please read everything before you send it.

Anyone in the UK with a complaint against an organisation, such as a council, landlord or employer, who would like to try FirinnVault for free. You start with a made-up example case, so you don’t need to share any documents. Email us at hello@firinnvault.com.
